Ironman 70.3 Sunshine Coast, Australia

Noosa Heads is just 40 minute drive from Mooloolaba, Sunshine Coast. So racing here felt like a home race to me. I had a great swim (first out of the water), so I was jumping on bike as a first female.

First bike loop I was holding pace with Caroline Steffen and Annabel Luxford, which is positive as they are both super strong bikers. At the beginning of the second loop I lost contact with the girls and arrived to the transition about 2 minutes behind them.

My run legs felt strong so I was able to hold on and finished 3rd.
